CORE worker requirements
What is CORE?
CORE (Community Oriented Recovery and Empowerment) is a New York State OMH program that provides recovery support services to adults with mental illness. As a CORE worker placed by NTH Support, you must meet the requirements below before you can start.
Before you can start
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Have 1–3 years of behavioral health experience or a bachelor's degree
- Complete all 7 required CPI trainings (see below)
- Background checks — the clinic handles this for you
- Sign the Justice Center Code of Conduct and complete Mandated Reporter training
CPI Training — how to complete it
Fill out the form below. NTH Support will register you — you'll receive your login credentials by email within 1–2 business days.
Go to rfmh.csod.com and sign in with the username and password CPI sent you. Forgot your password? Click Forgot password on the login page or email cpihelp@nyspi.columbia.edu
Once logged in, click each training below — it will open directly in the CPI portal. Complete the module and pass the quiz to finish.
